Why are there so many ppl that act like just because a musical group is big time that there sell-outs?

I don't get it ppl say Avenged Sevenfold are sell outs. But, the stupid thing is Metallica, Ozzy, Zeppelin, and Cradle of Filth are big time also and are famous all over the world.
